Privacy Policy

Last updated February 27, 2026

TRT Authority ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

Information We Collect

We collect minimal data. We do not require account creation, and we do not collect names, email addresses, or other personally identifiable information through normal site usage.

Analytics Data

We use two analytics services to understand how visitors use our site:

  • Umami Analytics — a privacy-focused analytics tool that collects anonymous page view and interaction data. Umami does not use cookies for tracking and does not collect personal information.
  • PostHog — a product analytics tool that helps us understand user behavior patterns to improve our site. PostHog may set a cookie to distinguish unique visitors.

Both tools collect standard usage data such as pages visited, referring URLs, browser type, device type, and general geographic region. This data is used solely to improve our site and content.

Cookies

Our site uses only analytics cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party ad tracking of any kind. You can block cookies through your browser settings without affecting your ability to use our site.

Third-Party Services

Our site is hosted on Vercel. When you visit our site, Vercel may collect standard server logs including IP addresses, which are subject to Vercel's privacy policy.

We do not integrate with social media platforms, advertising networks, or data brokers. We do not embed third-party content that tracks you across sites.

Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. We do not have personal information to share — our analytics data is anonymous and aggregated.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your data:

  • California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect and to request its deletion. Since we don't collect personal information, these requests would not apply in most cases.
  • EU/UK residents (GDPR): You have rights to access, rectification, erasure, and portability of personal data. Our minimal data collection means these rights are largely satisfied by default.

Children's Privacy

Our site is not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our practices evolve. Material changes will be noted with an updated date at the top of this page.
